Obudu Mountain Resort History of Obudu Cattle Ranch now named Obudu Mountain Resort is a brief one. It started when a Scottish, Mr. McCaughley first explored the mountain ranges in 1949. It was then later developed by the Scottish, Mr. Hugh Jones (a fellow rancher) and Dr Crawfeild in 1951.
